Ingredients
  1. 1 bottle merlot (or another full bodied red)
  2. 1/2 c bourbon whiskey
  3. 1/2 c apple juice
  4. 1 apple
  5. 1 orange
  6. 1 plum
  7. 1 pear
  8. 1 cinnamon stick
Instructions
  1. Dice (or slice) all your fruit into even size pieces and add to pitcher. Add the cinnamon stick.
  2. Pour the wine, bourbon and apple juice over the fruit and gently stir to mix.
  3. Cover & chill for at least 3 hours (preferably overnight).
  4. Serve over ice and garnish with extra cinnamon sticks and extra fruit if you wish.
Notes
  1. I prefer my sangrias with a lot of fruit. Cut back the amount of fruit you used if you don't want as much!
