Fall Honeycrisp Apple Sangria

Serves 6
A sweet & crisp fall sangria - perfect for fall!
Ingredients
- 2 honeycrisp apples
- 1 bottle chardonnay
- 1/2 c peach brandy
- 1/4 c honey
- 2 oranges
- 1 lemon
- 1 lime
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 quarter-sized slices of fresh ginger
- 3 whole cloves
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- ice
- club soda
Instructions
- Peel, core and chop one of the apples. Quarter one of the oranges, the lemon & lime.
- In a pitcher, combine the chardonnay, brandy & honey. Add the chopped apple, quartered orange, quartered lemon & quartered lime along with the cinnamon sticks, ginger & cloves. REFRIGERATE OVERNIGHT.
- Strain the sangria into a new pitcher.
- Peel, core and chop the remaining apple. Peel, section and chop the remaining orage. Mix the apple & orange together in a small bowl.
- On a small plate, mix the cinnamon & sugar together. Wet the rims of the wine glasses with simple syrup (or water) and stip into the cinnamon/sugar to coat.
- Fill the wine glass with ice. Pour sangria until glass is 3/4 filled. Top with a splash of club soda. Garnish with a spoonful of the chopped apple and orage.
