Fall Honeycrisp Apple Sangria

This sangria is the perfect addition to your fall drink menu. No longer are sangrias just for summer – thank God!! 

My favorite part of this sangria? Eating the apple/oranges after you finish off the drink – delicious!

Fall Honeycrisp Apple Sangria
Serves 6
A sweet & crisp fall sangria - perfect for fall!

Ingredients
  1. 2 honeycrisp apples
  2. 1 bottle chardonnay
  3. 1/2 c peach brandy
  4. 1/4 c honey
  5. 2 oranges
  6. 1 lemon
  7. 1 lime
  8. 2 cinnamon sticks
  9. 2 quarter-sized slices of fresh ginger
  10. 3 whole cloves
  11. 2 tbsp sugar
  12. 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  13. ice
  14. club soda
Instructions
  1. Peel, core and chop one of the apples. Quarter one of the oranges, the lemon & lime.
  2. In a pitcher, combine the chardonnay, brandy & honey. Add the chopped apple, quartered orange, quartered lemon & quartered lime along with the cinnamon sticks, ginger & cloves. REFRIGERATE OVERNIGHT.
  3. Strain the sangria into a new pitcher.
  4. Peel, core and chop the remaining apple. Peel, section and chop the remaining orage. Mix the apple & orange together in a small bowl.
  5. On a small plate, mix the cinnamon & sugar together. Wet the rims of the wine glasses with simple syrup (or water) and stip into the cinnamon/sugar to coat.
  6. Fill the wine glass with ice. Pour sangria until glass is 3/4 filled. Top with a splash of club soda. Garnish with a spoonful of the chopped apple and orage.
